March 08, 2021Women & children continue to suffer disproportionately from the impact of the pandemic and the statistics, particularly in relation to homelessness and domestic violence, are horrendous. On International Women’s Day, I’m honoured to announce that I have been invited by the brilliant @museumofthehome (formerly the Geffrye Museum) to be part of their #BehindtheDoor auction supporting @londonhomelesscollective which works to tackle female & family homelessness. There is a truly stellar line up of lots (put me down for the garden consultation with @jinny.blom & wallpaper painting with @degournay!) and I have donated the chance to create your own set of bespoke personalised stationery. Bidding opens on 19 March, for more information and to sign up for reminders please follow this link…

March 04, 2021A little while ago, I was commissioned by Plum & Ashby to illustrate their limited edition Mother’s Day gift set. As a company focused on natural products and sustainability, the idea was that the box would have a life long after the glass bottles inside were empty - a place for your ribbon stash, or colouring pencil collection perhaps? Mine currently live in a Swiss chocolate box. Using a muted palette that nods to the beautiful paintings of Winifred Nicholson who was company founder Freya’s grandmother, the box has been beautifully styled & photographed here by Twig Hutchinson & Emma Lee.You can buy the limited edition set from Plum & Ashby while stocks last or click here for a chance to WIN one in Plum & Ashby’s Mother’s Day competition (closes 9 March 2021)
