Fairy Lights
On December 22, 1882, a Christmas tree was illuminated with a string of lights for the very first time by Edward H Johnson of New York, a colleague of Thomas Edison. And though every year millions of households curse wildly as they try to untangle last years' hastily stored lights, or find the one tiny bulb that's blown, who would be without their twinkly glow on the Christmas tree?
All Scribble & Daub cards are traditionally letterpress-printed from original dip pen and ink drawings and then individually hand-painted with Andy Warhol's favourite inks on luxurious Italian deckle-edged cards with matching envelopes.
