Rose
Floriography, otherwise known as the language of flowers, was the means by which our somewhat repressed Victorian ancestors chose to communicate their feelings.
Flowers were used to send coded messages, allowing people to express that which could otherwise not be said, and the red rose was the ultimate symbol of love and passion, yellow of friendship, and pink of gratitude and appreciation.
All Scribble & Daub cards are traditionally letterpress-printed from original dip pen and ink drawings and then individually hand-painted with Andy Warhols favourite inks on luxurious Italian deckle-edged cards with matching envelopes.
Available individually or as a colourfully tissue wrapped set of 6.
