Scribble & Daub creates tiny works of art for stylish gifting, hosting and correspondence. We provide the paper remedy to an increasingly mass-produced, digital world.
Made for those with a sophisticated eye for design, every card is letterpress printed at our traditional workshop from founder Caroline's original dip pen and ink illustrations, and then individually hand-painted in our East Sussex studio with Andy Warhol’s favourite brightly coloured inks from the 1950s.
As old-fashioned stationery and proper post become new luxuries, Scribble & Daub's cards are designed to enhance any present, or to be tiny gifts in themselves, meticulously hand-crafted objects of enduring pleasure to both giver and receiver - after all, you are what you give.
Scribble & Daub stockists include:
Liberty | 10 Corso Como | Alex Eagle x The Stores | Fortnum & Mason | Designers Guild | Goods for the Study | ICA Boston | Point of View | Garden Museum | Gleneagles Hotel | The Courtauld | mirabelle | and many more independent design stores worldwide.
Previously a curator of contemporary art, Caroline founded Scribble & Daub in 2012 and has since created illustrations for leading international luxury fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands, and collaborated on collections with two of Britain’s most famous and beautiful gardens, Charleston House & Great Dixter. Her own garden & wild flower meadow at her cottage in the East Sussex countryside was featured in the pages of the New York Times.
