Summer Daze

My studio looks out onto a meadow filled with buttercups at this time of year. Sunny memories of lying in on a blanket, toddlers twiddling these golden flowers under my chin, inspired the pattern on this gauzy summer dress, part of our new Daydress collaboration of clothing and table linens.

To create the pattern I drew pages of loose scribbles, daubing the petals on top, and then chose favourites to put in repeat. Pick this card for a summer birthday or wedding, or to send a cheery thank you.
