Celandine

Celandine, the little sun king, has all but disappeared from the damp corners of the meadow where I found him in abundance a couple of weeks ago. His gaudier cousin the buttercups have taken over in the time since I scribbled him, a haze of golden yellow. Meanwhile I've been busily trying to get the new Scribble & Daub card collection into the world and haven't managed to put him up until now as I have been writing letters and carefully wrapping cards instead. The last envelope has just been carefully scribbled with my favourite fountain pen, so it's off to the Post Office now, wish them luck..!
