How to talk about love... and how to celebrate it!

How to talk about love at a moment when there is such a terrifying lack of it on display around the world? It's not always easy...

On Christmas Eve (of all days!) I received an email from someone informing me that they would be unsubscribing from my newsletter because they "don't do politics". My objection to the bombing and starvation of innocent civilians, and support for their plight was just too much for them, apparently.

Choosing love over hate is a political act in my view, a choice that I will always try to make, and which feels increasingly urgent. Whatever your sexuality, nationality, racial identity, gender, religion or status, you deserve safety, freedom, equality, and compassion.

As a stationery company, love is our business. Love between families, friends and partners, expressed through handwritten notes and small, thoughtful gifts. Every tiny act of love is a vote cast for the kind of world you want to live in, and we celebrate them all.
