John Derian

John Derian is a New York institution; he established his eponymous shop in Manhattan’s East Village in 1989. A lifetime obsession with paper ephemera from the 18th & 19th centuries has led him to create an extensive body of exquisitely collaged and decoupaged products which he produces with a small team of artisans. He has worked on numerous prestigious collaborations, my favourite being his long-standing relationship with Parisian ceramicists, Astier de Vilatte.
