Scribble & Daub may make the finest cards money can buy, but there is nothing in the world better to give or receive than a card you made yourself, whatever your ability. 

This kit contains the essentials to begin creating your own dip pen and ink cards, presented in a personalised gift box - please leave the name you would like added to the label in a note at checkout, and allow 5 working days for delivery.

Contents:

* Dr Ph Martin's Bombay Indian Ink - Black - 30ml. This ink is waterproof, so once dry can happily be used under or over other mediums. This ink was used by Andy Warhol in the 50s and 60s.

* Round Synthetic Sable Brush in Size 8. Made by a specialist English brush company established 75 years ago. the design uses specially developed synthetic sable, set in seamless nickel-plated ferrules on black polished handles. The unique synthetic fibre has the spring and snap of real sable, with the durability of a synthetic.

* 8 Small blank cards & envelopes - mould-made, deckle-edged paper from a 750 year old Italian mill.

* Marbled wooden dip pen, traditionally made in Germany. This classic straight handle shape is a timeless design that is lightweight and easy to hold. The universal insert at the end of the holder will fit any size nib - simply slide your nib in between the petals and the metal rim for a snug fit.  Each pen is unique and designs vary, yours will be chosen at random, we cannot specify particular colours or patterns.

* One vintage Waverley metal nib, as favoured by Rudyard Kipling. This is Caroline's personal favourite for drawing, but other drawing or calligraphy nibs will also fit this holder, so you can experiment at leisure.

* Brass-stitched grey card gift box, made in the same traditional way by an English company since the 1800s, with a letterpress printed and hand-painted label, handwritten with a name of your choice by Caroline.
