A little while ago, I was commissioned by Plum & Ashby to illustrate their limited edition Mother’s Day gift set. As a company focused on natural products and sustainability, the idea was that the box would have a life long after the glass bottles inside were empty - a place for your ribbon stash, or colouring pencil collection perhaps? Mine currently live in a Swiss chocolate box. Using a muted palette that nods to the beautiful paintings of Winifred Nicholson who was company founder Freya’s grandmother, the box has been beautifully styled & photographed here by Twig Hutchinson & Emma Lee.
