M is for...

M is for...

...March, and for Mother's, and a few Marvellous gift ideas truffled from the depths of the internet just for you...

With Mother's Day on the horizon (next Sunday for readers in the UK), I've put together a collection of treats for any special women in your life, at this or any other time of the year. I am acutely aware that we're not all lucky enough to have a mother around, or to be one, but mothering and mother-figures can take many forms and can all be celebrated. As with all such lists, this is essentially an exercise in wish-fulfilment, so please forgive a few indulgences, there are some very affordable options here too...! At the end of a long day, who wouldn't want to come home to a beautiful glass of something restorative, be it in floral or alcoholic form. These exquisite hand-blown Georgian style glasses by Emsie Sharp will accommodate either, and are from one of our favourite Scribble & Daub stockists, The Merchant's Table in Suffolk (from £65)
Hair barrette with vintage ribbon, Margaux (from £110)
